A person who is stupid and entirely tedious at the same time. Many times they are oblivious to their own mental incapacity.

Dolts are not necessarily stupid people, but engage in stupid actions or make stupid comments. Others around them would define their actions as dumb, spaced-out, or uneducated. Dolts often "speak to soon" as their stupid actions are often preventable.

Someone unaware of their surroundings.

A trivial inane person who tends to be elevated or promoted to a higher standing than warranted due to having ridiculous delusions of grandeur. A dolt is right at home in the political arena.

A person over age 18 who still acts as immature as a teenager.
